PAC 10![]() The roots of the Pacific-10 Conference date back over 90 years to December 2, 1915, when the Pacific Coast Conference (PCC) was founded at a meeting at the Oregon Hotel in Portland, Ore. The Pacific Coast Conference‘s original membership consisted of four schools – the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Washington, the University of Oregon, and Oregon State College (now Oregon State University ). All are still charter members of the Conference. Since the Pac-10 has won more NCAA National Team Championships than any other conference in history, they call themselves the Conference of Champions. At present time, UCLA, Stanford, and the University of Southern California have the most NCAA championships; UCLA – winning a combined 104 team championships in men’s and women’s sports – holds the most. Of Division I conferences, only the Ivy League has maintained its current membership for a longer time than the Pac-10. PAC-10’s teams are listed below: |
